Lesson 3 is an important one for most people. As most of you probably experienced, the closer you got to Christmas, the harder it became. Most likely, because you each time we allow ourselves flexibility it can build up (depending on how much and what’s going on in each different lifestyle factor). For example, the more we allow ourselves to be flexible, more we need to adjust something else such as better sleep, exercise, or eating at other times. If we don’t then we are more likely to experience an “imbalance” of some sort leading to hunger, cravings and even overeating if we don’t utilize effective solutions.
When you started this program you may have feared the holidays and the cravings that come with it. By now, you should be able to know at least a couple ways of how to combat these more effectively. In this video, I talk about it further.
Do NOT ignore hunger and cravings…listen to what your body is telling you and then do the right thing. This will take some trial and error, but each time you will improve and eventually find what works well for you.
